After a lot of discussions that sometimes led to arguments, we finally decided to name this website, SCRAPVENUE.COM – Scrapbooking, Scrapbooks, atbp... A Place of Memories. We have thought of other names and we argued over each one of them until we opted to stick to this one and thought of our own tagline that simply refers to “a place of memories”.

VENUE refers to a location for an event and implies a place that people come to. SCRAP, short for scrapbooking, is my wife’s simple joy, a hobby that has a place in her heart. SCRAP plus VENUE equals SCRAPVENUE, a place you would come to for anything about scrapbooking and scrapbooks. I was inspired to create this site for her and at the same time be involved and share the activity that she enjoys most. We intend to share our creations, express our creative thoughts and ideas, provide you with the basics of scrapbooking, inspire you with our very own compositions, and most of all, create a place of memories – SCRAPVENUE.COM.
